We are seeking a Part-Time Food Runner
Position Summary
The Food Runner assists servers by carrying trays, delivering food to designated dining areas, and ensuring exceptional service to members and their guests. This position upholds The Oaks Club A.I.T.P.E. Core Values and maintains the highest service standards.
Position Responsibilities

- Learns basic food terms, wine varietals, liquors, and beers.
- Learns and uses member names whenever possible.
- Attends required meetings and training sessions.
- Completes all side work assignments timely and accurately.
- Performs additional duties assigned by Food & Beverage Managers.
- Assists in training new food runners.
- Checks out with a manager before leaving the shift.
- Follows the established chain of command.
- Assists servers at all times.
- Identifies signs of guest intoxication and responds appropriately.
- Provides efficient, proper service of all food and beverages.
- Completes and maintains the Florida Certified Food Safety Program.
- Understands how to read PEOs.
- Accurately reads tickets and delivers all items correctly to tables.
- Must be 18 years of age

- Ability to assist co-workers when needed.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and avoid personal issues with members.
Physical Demands
- Ability to carry cocktail and oval trays up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift, carry, pull, or move objects up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to move tables, chairs, and service equipment.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to four hours.
Work Environment
- Indoor environment with controlled heating and cooling.
- Occasional outdoor events in extreme Florida heat.
- Exposure to commercial kitchen conditions, including heat, cold, and noise.
