**What to Expect on a Daily Basis:**
Every day varies, which is part of the excitement! Here are some of your potential daily tasks:
- Assisting customers in locating items
- Organizing and folding shirts to maintain a tidy store
- Processing sales transactions using our POS system
- Opening or closing the store (shifts range from 8:00 AM to 11 PM based on the season)
- Helping to remerchandise the store and participating in special projects
- Engaging with and greeting customers
- Communicating merchandise needs to management
- Completing tasks efficiently and effectively

Your job will include talking to people from all over the world, helping people find their perfect gifts, making sure we have items in stock, and talking about how great Seattle is! We are a small, but growing company that works hard to create a great atmosphere for customers and staff alike. Every day in retail is different! That’s half the fun. Here are some things you might be doing on a daily basis:
- Putting out new merchandise
- Helping customers find items they need
- Folding shirts and keeping the store neat and tidy
- Ringing up sales on the POS system
- Opening or closing the store (as early as 8:00am, as late as 11pm depending on the season)
- Helping remerchandise the store and jumping in on projects
- Talking and greeting customers
- Informing Managers of merchandise needed on the sales floor
- Finding and completing tasks
- Keeping busy and using your time efficiently
This job is not typical, we're looking for people who want to build a career, make money and be successful! This is a starting position but we promote from within and are looking for leaders.
