Speech Language Pathologist
Job Summary:
Gulfside Health & Rehab, a leading provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term skilled nursing care, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in Clearwater, FL. Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders in patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and swallowing needs
Provide therapy services to patients in various settings, including individual and group sessions
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and achieve patients' goals
Document patient progress and communicate with families and healthcare professionals
Stay current with industry best practices, research, and technology to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field
Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field preferred
Clinical fellowship completion or equivalent experience
Florida state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
Ability to travel between multiple settings and facilities as needed
