American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for an Open Heart Surgery unit position requiring a minimum of 3 years of CVOR experience and a CA RN license.

Work in an Open Heart Surgery unit within a hospital setting
-
Schedule consists of 5x8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with shifts varying between 0630–1500 and 1045–1900
-
Monday through Friday schedule with on-call shifts required 2–3 days per week depending on experience and case load
-
Every other weekend on-call required

Call-back availability required
-
13-week contract

Active CA RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)

Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross accepted)

Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required

Previous acute care hospital experience required

DaVinci XI experience required

Workplace Violence Prevention (DCI/BVP) certification required (can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource)

Perform cardiovascular OR nursing care including open heart surgical procedures

DaVinci XI robotic surgical system experience is a component of this role
