We are seeking an experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and coatings to various surfaces using airless paint spraying techniques. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results
- Operate airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint and coatings
- Ensure proper coverage and finish quality
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform routine maintenance on painting equipment
- Assist with materials handling and inventory management as needed
Skills:
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in painting applications
- Ability to operate a forklift for materials handling purposes
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint quantities
