Focus Workforce Management is now interviewing candidates for Compound Blender positions in our Somerville, TN location. Our Compound Blenders are responsible for the manufacturing of bulk products (liquid and powder formulations) which are formulated to finished goods. Includes the weighs of raw materials; the operation of various processing equipment and the documentation of this operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Strict adherence to FDA regulations, as well as, internal procedures is critical
- Weigh and measure various raw materials used to make batches
- Operate equipment used to process ingredients in both manual and automatic fashion
- Complete documentation for all processing, weighing and cleaning operations
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing of process vessels, utensils, equipment and keep work area clean
- Conduct inventory of raw materials and products
- Assist others in the performance of these tasks
- Ability to wear respiratory protection to perform specific tasks
- Operate electric pallet jack or forklift to move materials
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE INCLUDE:
- Excellent reading, math and communication skills
- Able to read, understand & apply information from SOP's, batch sheets, etc
- Confident in the use of basic math calculations, percentages, fractions and decimal notation
- Familiar with different measurement schemes, e.g. kilograms vs. pounds; Fluid vs. liters
- Able to effectively communication with supervisor, co-workers, Quality, Packaging, and other departments
