The Supervising Psychiatrist provides clinical supervision and oversight to advanced practice providers (APPs) (e.g., psychiatric nurse practitioners or physician assistants, where applicable) delivering outpatient psychiatric care for patients experiencing conditions such as depression and anxiety.
This role focuses on clinical oversight, consultation, and quality assurance, ensuring care is delivered in compliance with Nevada state supervision requirements, federal regulations, and Anywhere Clinic clinical standards. The Supervising Psychiatrist does not serve as the treating provider for patients unless separately credentialed and scheduled to do so.
This is a 1099 independent contractor role. Compensation is $500 per month per supervised practitioner, in accordance with supervision agreements and scope of responsibility.

Provide clinical supervision and consultation to assigned advanced practice providers in accordance with Nevada state law, including availability for clinical discussion as required

Conduct periodic chart reviews to assess clinical appropriateness, documentation quality, and adherence to standards of care

Offer feedback and guidance on:

Patient management and treatment planning

Documentation practices

Appropriate billing and coding considerations (within supervisory scope)

Ensure supervision activities meet state, federal, and organizational compliance requirements, including HIPAA

Participate in quality assurance processes and contribute to clinical policy development as needed

Maintain familiarity with and appropriate use of the Electronic Health Record (EHR) for supervision and review purposes

Support a collaborative, professional, and growth-oriented clinical culture

Approach the role with flexibility and a solutions-focused mindset in a dynamic clinical environment
Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in the state of Nevada-
Board-eligible or board-certified in Psychiatry

Experience supervising or collaborating with advanced practice providers preferred

Strong understanding of outpatient psychiatric care and psychopharmacology

Knowledge of Nevada supervision requirements and willingness to adhere strictly to regulatory standards

Understanding of HIPAA and experience working with confidential health information

Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to provide structured, professional feedback in a supportive manner

Comfort working remotely and using digital health systems

Interest in innovative, evidence-based approaches to mental health care
