Yard Jockey/Yard Switcher-Home Daily-
$23-$25/hr
Location: Elizabeth, NJ (EWR Area)
Shift: 4:00pm-2:00am
Mark IV Transportation is seeking a reliable Yard Jockey/Yard Switcher to join our team in Elizabeth, NJ. This position is responsible for moving and positioning trailers within the yard, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring equipment is staged safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Move and position trailers throughout the yard.
- Spot trailers at warehouse dock doors.
- Perform basic trailers and equipment inspections.
- Communicate with warehouse and transportation personnel.
- Maintain safe yard operations.
- Complete required paperwork and reporting.

Job Requirements:
-Minimum 1 year of Yard Jockey, Yard Switcher, Tractor-Trailer, or Trailer movement experience required.
- CDL Class A preferred but not required.
- Ability to safely maneuver 53' trailers in tight spaces
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work 4:00pm-2:00am
Wage Range: 23.00 - 25.00 per hour
