Pay Rate: $21/hr on w2+ $3k bonus

Wed to Sat 2:00pm - 12:30am 4 x 10 schedule

Mon to Fri 2:00pm - 10:30pm

Position Overview
As an FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 1, you will play a crucial role in constructing, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Your responsibilities include identifying parts for replacement, ordering new parts as needed, and ensuring the proper functioning of machinery.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Construct and Assemble: You will assemble mechanical components, ensuring they meet quality standards and specifications.
- Maintenance and Testing: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment. Conduct tests to verify functionality and safety.
- Part Identification: Identify parts that require replacement due to wear, damage, or malfunction.
- Order Placement: Place orders for new parts as necessary to maintain operational efficiency.
- Education and Training: A high school diploma or its equivalent is preferrred. Completion of an apprenticeship or formal training in the relevant specialty may also be necessary.
- Experience: May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Supervision: Work under immediate supervision, following pre-established guidelines.
- Reporting: Typically report to a supervisor or manager.
Special Considerations
- Physical Demands: Lifting is generally at or below 30 lbs without significant repetitions.
- Exposure Risks: Moderate exposure to machinery, chemicals, biological agents, and physical risks.
- Equipment Operation: Operation of a powered industrial truck (considered at least industrial and may be considered heavy).
Additional Notes
- Overtime Approval: All overtime must be preapproved by the Honeywell supervisor.
- Contract-to-Hire Opportunity: Based on worker performance, attendance, and dependability, there is potential for contract-to-hire.
- Start Date Flexibility: The start date will be adjusted as needed for onboarding completion and final FAA clearance.
- Immediate Availability: Candidates should be available to start right away upon completing onboarding.
- Safety Gear: Steel-toed footwear is required.
