Desired Qualifications:
- Hold an active NJ Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Possess Valid NJ Speech-Language Specialist (SLS) Certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) welcome with outside supervision arranged
- Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially Autistic and preschool populations, highly valued
- Comfortable commuting between two school sites if needed
- Onsite availability for 35+ hours weekly throughout the contract period
- Must not be an SLPA (Speech-Language Pathology Assistant)
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct therapy for students K-5, focusing on individualized speech and language goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Complete assessments, track data, and monitor goal achievement
- Engage in consultations and provide strategies to classroom staff
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for students with diverse needs
