Job Title: CT Technologist (Radiology) – Travel Assignment
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Flex Shift | 40 Hours/Week
Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 10:30 AM–7:00 PM
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while maintaining high standards of patient care, image quality, and radiation safety in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform CT imaging procedures as ordered by physicians
- Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment safely and efficiently
- Select appropriate imaging protocols and ensure quality diagnostic images
- Position patients accurately and maintain patient comfort and safety
- Review images for technical quality and diagnostic adequacy
- Explain procedures to patients and reduce anxiety during exams
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during procedures
- Perform equipment quality checks and report issues as needed
- Follow radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Administer contrast media when trained and authorized
- Maintain HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Graduate of an AMA-accredited Radiography Program
- Current ARRT certification required
- CT certification or ARRT CT registration required
- Minimum 3 years Radiologic Technologist experience OR 1 year recent CT experience within the last 5 years
- Valid Massachusetts Radiation Control license
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Additional Requirement: Includes every 3rd holiday rotation.
