What You'll Be Doing
As a Project Engineer, you'll partner closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to help deliver complex heavy civil transportation projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of construction
- Managing RFIs, submittals, change orders and project documentation
- Tracking project costs, quantities, budgets and production
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and field operations
- Reviewing plans, specifications and schedules
- Helping ensure successful project execution from start to finish
We're Looking For
Ideally, you'll bring 8-10 years of Project Engineering experience in heavy civil construction. Candidates with somewhat less experience who possess exceptional heavy civil backgrounds will also be considered.
Requirements:
- Heavy civil highway, roadway or transportation construction experience
- Experience supporting DOT, UDOT or municipal infrastructure projects preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
- Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- A desire to continue growing into future leadership opportunities
