Duties
- Manage daily clinic operations, including patient flow, appointment scheduling, and treatment coordination to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Supervise dental and administrative staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of service
- Oversee fiscal management activities such as budgeting, billing, collections, and financial reporting to ensure profitability and resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations including HIPAA privacy laws
- Utilize dental practice management software such as Curve Dental
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff scheduling, and conflict resolution to foster a motivated team environment
- Maintain medical records accuracy and confidentiality
Skills
- Extensive experience in dental office management combined with strong knowledge of healthcare practice operations and medical office procedures
- Proficiency in managing financial aspects such as budgeting, medical billing, managed care contracts, and revenue cycle management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading healthcare teams with excellent managerial communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Knowledge of dental terminology, dental records management, and healthcare staff coordination to support quality patient care
