JExperienced Litigation Attorney (Family Law/Divorce)
Busy divorce and family law firm in Mount Pleasant seeking an experienced litigation attorney who is self-motivated, client-centric, and comfortable in Court. This role is for someone who can run their own caseload and take cases from intake through resolution (settlement or trial).
Responsibilities:
- Manage a full caseload of contested family law matters (divorce, custody, support, equitable distribution, enforcement)
- Draft and argue motions; handle temporary hearings and trials
- Conduct discovery; take/defend depositions
- Prepare witnesses, exhibits, and trial strategy
- Communicate proactively with clients and opposing counsel; keep cases moving
Requirements:
- Licensed attorney in good standing
- Litigation experience required (family court preferred; comparable litigation considered)
- Ability to work independently with strong organization and follow-through
- Strong writing, professionalism, and client communication skills
Compensation: Salary negotiable based on experience.
