Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant with proficiency in Athena Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to join our healthcare team in Wilson, NC. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in outpatient medical settings, including expertise in primary care and/or gastoenterology. The Medical Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient service, accurate medical documentation, and seamless EHR management.
Duties
- Perform patient intake procedures, including recording vital signs, updating medical histories, and documenting symptoms accurately within Athena EHR.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring precise documentation of patient encounters, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans.
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:
- Medical Assistant: 3 years (Preferred)
- Athena EHR: 3 years (Preferred)
