American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a WA or compact RN license and ACLS/ENPC or PALS certification.

Work in a hospital Emergency Room setting
-
12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
-
36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
-
Uses Epic EMR system
-
Active RN license (WA state or compact) in hand at time of consideration

Graduate of an accredited nursing program
-
Minimum 1 year of recent full-time equivalent ER experience within the last 3 years
-
Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification, or ENPC/Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire

Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field preferred

Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) preferred

NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred

Demonstrated ability to recognize and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias preferred
