Heavy Equipment Operator
Seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with the ability to safely and efficiently operate loaders, skid steers, excavators, bulldozers, and drop hammers on construction and site development projects.
Responsibilities include excavation, grading, demolition, material handling, and site preparation while maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates must have experience locating and working around underground utilities, including gas, water, electric, and communication lines. Ability to read site plans, follow grade stakes, perform daily equipment inspections, and work independently or as part of a crew is required.
Qualifications:
- Experience operating loaders, skid steers, excavators, bulldozers, and drop hammers
- Knowledge of underground utility locating and safe excavation practices
- Ability to dig around existing gas lines and other utilities without damage
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Valid driver's license required; CDL is a plus
Pay: $27.50 - $35.00 per hour
