The Marketing Specialist will create, develop, and implement marketing strategies and programs utilizing multiple platforms to effectively build brand awareness, drive new sales, and increase engagement and retention of current clients. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, creative, self-motivated, and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and work collaboratively with senior sales executives.
We are looking for someone who has the following:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business or Marketing preferred)
- 2-3 years of marketing experience utilizing social media and traditional platforms
- Experience running social media campaigns on various platforms like LinkedIn, Google Analytics, You Tube, and Reddit
- Advanced computer skills, including MS Office (PowerPoint superuser), marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google AdWords, etc.) HTML, CSS, and web development tools desired
- Skilled at writing content that reflects the company’s views and industry knowledge that is relevant to current and potential clients.
- Ability to create strategic campaigns and promotions that are exciting, valuable, and relevant while staying on a desired brand message.
- Well-organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage projects and events, work under pressure and meet firm deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with internal and external senior leadership
- Proven ability to take on tasks, projects, initiatives and be self-driven to see them to completion.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind.
- Ability to travel as needed to events and presentations.
You will be responsible for the following and more:
- Conduct market research to find answers about client/business partner requirements, habits, and trends.
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
- Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.)
- Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns. This includes but is not limited to trade shows, webinars, press releases, and sponsored events.
- Collaborate with marketing partners and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
- Writing and preparing written proposal responses to RFP requests
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels (social media, e-mail, print, video, etc.)
- Research industry specific topics for use in marketing materials to include websites, blogs, social channel content, and infographics.
- Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
- Identify potential markets and customer intelligence, including tracking new industry trends, competitor products, press releases and social media

- Collaborate with the sales organization to participate in reviewing presentations, request for proposals (RFP), and other sales collateral. This also includes the ability to present to clients and prospects as needed.
- Ensure the BC Services external website remains up to date with content and branding. Finding ways to continually drive our clients and prospects to the webpage by through a variety of social media platforms.
- Manage the BC Services Store. This allows for employees to purchase marketing gear (apparel, mugs, pens, etc.). Responsibilities include tracking inventory, sales, and new items.
- Execute marketing initiatives and project deliverables as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
