About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Inspector to join a leading aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect machined parts, sheet metal components, raw materials, purchased products, and assemblies to ensure they meet engineering drawings, customer specifications, and quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect machined, fabricated, and assembled aerospace components for quality and conformance.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Use precision measuring equipment
- Perform Rockwell hardness and Eddy Current testing.
- Complete First Article Inspections (FAIs) in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Document inspection results and process nonconforming material.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on inspection experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T.
- Experience using precision inspection equipment.
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (AS9102) preferred.
