Location: Appleton, WI
Schedule: Full-Time (36 hours/week)
Hours: 9:45 AM – 5:45 PM, Monday–Thursday
Work Week: 4 Days Per Week
Weekends & Holidays: Never

We are seeking a motivated Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being part of a collaborative, patient-focused team. Dermatology experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for patient care.
What You'll Do
As a key member of our clinical team, you will support providers and patients throughout the entire care experience by:
Patient Care & Clinical Support
- Room patients and obtain medical histories
- Document patient information accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
- Assist providers during patient visits by scribing and documenting care
- Prepare and send prescriptions as directed by providers
- Educate patients on treatment plans and patient portal usage
- Manage patient phone calls and messages within scope of practice
Clinical Procedures
- Assist providers during biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures
- Prepare procedure trays, instruments, medications, and supplies
- Administer local anesthetic as permitted by licensure and training
- Maintain sterile technique during procedures
- Sterilize and process instruments using autoclave equipment
- Prepare specimens for pathology transport and maintain accurate records
Clinic Operations
- Monitor patient flow and assist with maintaining provider schedules
- Ensure exam and treatment rooms remain clean, stocked, and prepared
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Support compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards

Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program; OR
- Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification with eligibility to work in Wisconsin; OR
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with eligibility to work in Wisconsin
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous dermatology experience
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
- Previous clinical or procedural assisting experience
