Setup and operate CNC Turning and Swiss Turning machines, with ability to make minor programming changes and improvements . Must have three years CNC Swiss Turning experience, proficiency in machine operations, blueprint reading, and be adept at using all appropriate inspection tools.

Summary
As a CNC Machinist/Setup Technician specializing in Swiss Turning machines and applications, you will be responsible for setup and operating CNC Swiss macine tools, using and maintaining approriate setup sheets, inspection sheets, and work instructions. Reporting to the Shop Manager your role is vital in ensuring efficient manufacturing processes and meeting customer delivery schedules. Your core skills in blueprint reading, CNC swiss machining, and facilitiating the handoff to machine operatators will be essential requirements.
Qualifications
- 3 Years experience with CNC Turning and Swiss Turning machines.
- Ability to setup and operate CNC Swiss machines.
- Ability to make minor program changes and improvements.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and GD&T principles.
- Experience with Haas and Hanwha CNC Swiss machines is a plus.
- Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments such as CMM's, Vision, calipers, micrometers, and bore gauges.
- Mechanical knowledge and experience with tooling and geometry.
