Job Summary
We are seeking a Distribution Operator (Trainee, I, II, or III) to perform tasks related to maintaining proper operations to the water distribution system, treatment plants, underground pipes and related systems. See full job descriptions at www.oldsmarfl.gov.
Education/Experience/Licenses
- Trainee - $19.13/hour: HS graduation or equivalent. Preferred previous plumbing, pipework or construction one (1) year related job experience. FL Driver's License.
- Distribution Operator III - $22.18/hour : HS graduation or equivalent. One (1) year experience in utilities (watermains, valves, hydrants). FL Driver's License, Level 3 FDEP Water Distribution License, Backflow Tester Certification, FDOT MOT Certification.
- Distribution Operator II - $24.25/hour: HS graduation or equivalent. Three (3) years experience in utilities (watermains, valves, hydrants). FL Driver's License, Level 2 FDEP Water Distribution License, Backflow Tester Certification, Backflow Repair Certification, FDOT MOT Certification.
- Distribution Operator I - $25.73/hour: HS graduation or equivalent. Five (5) years experience in utilities (watermains, valves, hydrants). Florida Commercial Driver's License, Level 1 FDEP Water Distribution License, Backflow Tester Certification, Backflow Repair Certification, FDOT MOT Certification.
