Qualifications:
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license
REQUIRED: Must hold at least 3 active NP licenses in any of the following states:
- Connecticut (CT)
- Georgia (GA)
- North Carolina (NC)
- North Dakota (ND)
- New Jersey (NJ)
- New York (NY)
- Pennsylvania (PA)
- South Carolina (SC)
- South Dakota (SD)
- Virginia (VA)
- Wisconsin (WI)
- West Virginia (WV)
Responsibilities
- Provide virtual primary care for patients ages 18 months and older.
- Evaluate and treat acute illnesses, chronic conditions, and transitional care patients.
- Educate patients on disease prevention, wellness, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Counsel patients on pregnancy prevention, STI prevention, safer sex practices, and contraceptive care.
- Answer patient questions and provide guidance on treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Assist with clinic operations, including reviewing lab results, inventory management, and other administrative duties as needed..
