Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor degree in Engineering Technology, Quality Management, or a related technical field preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of field quality assurance or quality control experience in a DOE, nuclear power, or regulated industrial construction/maintenance environment.

Working knowledge of NQA-1 quality assurance requirements, DOE Orders, and applicable codes and standards (ASME, AWS, ANSI, etc.).
-
Experience performing field surveillance, nonconformance tracking, and corrective action management.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management documentation systems.

Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Engineering Technology, Quality Management, or related field.

Direct Savannah River Site or DOE major facility experience.

Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) designation through ASQ.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Savannah River Site access badge and pass all required background checks and DOE security requirements.

Valid U.S. driver license.

DOE Q or L Security Clearance.

AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent.

OSHA 30-Hour General Industry or Construction certification.
