We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (School-Based) to join a supportive school district in Rock Hall, Maryland. This full-time school-year opportunity is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about helping students develop effective communication skills and achieve academic success through individualized speech and language services.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders while supporting students from Birth through Age 21.
Position Details:
Position: Speech Language Pathologist (School-Based)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Shift: Days
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Scheduled Hours: 37.5 Hours/Week
Contract Length: 42 Weeks (School Year 2026–2027)

Location: Rock Hall, Maryland 21661
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation and student progress records.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 30 students ranging from Birth through Age21.
Requirements:
- Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License required prior to the start date.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Previous school-based experience is preferred.
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Must meet all onboarding, credentialing, and compliance requirements prior to the start date.
