Now Hiring: Nurse Practitioner – Hepatology/Gastroenterology

Our growing Hepatology/Gastroenterology practice in Beaumont, Texas, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our collaborative team. Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with hepatology and gastroenterology conditions in an outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a fast-paced specialty practice.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal and liver diseases.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests and laboratory results.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and preventive care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and the clinical team to ensure continuity of care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner using the electronic medical record (EMR) Practice Fusion.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with practice policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Texas (or eligible for licensure).
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP).
- DEA license and prescriptive authority (or eligible to obtain).
- Previous experience in Gastroenterology or Hepatology is preferred but not required. New graduates with strong clinical experience are encouraged to apply.
