The Barrel Social Club is a small business in Franklin, KY offering a members-only setting for tournament and cash poker, darts, and billiards to the Nashville and Bowling Green areas. We are looking for team members who will take responsibility for their role to create a memorable club experience.
Company Standards of Conduct
All Barrel Social Team Members are expected to always conduct and carry themselves in a professional manner. Team Members are required to observe the Company’s standards, work requirements and rules of conduct. Safety is an essential work function.
Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and friendly service to all staff and guests
- Deal and conduct games in accordance with policies and procedures
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority. Otherwise, refer to upper management
- Accurately process cash and card point-of-sales transactions including for memberships and rentals
- Manage customer flow including seating and wait lists
- Answer phone calls and respond effectively to inquiries
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all current and upcoming promotions, events and special offers throughout the club and effectively communicate them to guests
- Fulfill all promotional offers by the club, including but not limited to coupons, prizes, redemption, and drawing tickets
- Protect the integrity of games through observation, procedures, and table decisions as necessary
- Enforce all rules and procedures regarding club policy and games
- Control and verify accuracy of fills, openers, closers, and other transactions
- Communicate with managers regarding any irregularities, guest disputes or arguments, and other important or relevant facts regarding members and employees
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ year floor experience preferred but not required
- 1+ year dealing experience required
- Consistent and punctual attendance
- Availability to work varied shifts (including nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays)
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Quick mental calculations
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Thorough knowledge of rules and procedures of games being dealt

Pay: $2.13 - $20.00 per hour
