Integrity Truck & Trailer Repair, a new shop nearing construction/completion in Gary, Indiana, is hiring a full-time Utility Technician.
Responsibilities of the Position:
- Possess valid Driver’s License
- Retrieve parts from various vendors as assigned by Supervisor/Service Writer
- Enter work performed in the maintenance software
- Enter parts received in the maintenance software
- Perform various cleaning duties of facility as assigned by Supervisor
- Communicate with drivers and other departments in person and via phone calls, emails, text messages
- Assist Mechanics when needed
Qualifications & Interpersonal Skills:
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred, not required)
- Valid, unrestricted, Driver’s License
- Working knowledge of or willingness to learn to drive a forklift
- Experience with trucking maintenance programs (preferred not required)
- Experience working with owner operators (preferred, not required)
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Collaborative, team-oriented, service-minded attitude
- Ability to manage multiple assignments
- Self-starter maintaining cleanliness of facility and parking lot
Work Schedule & Benefits:
- Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Physical Demands of the Position:
While performing the essential functions of this role, the employee must be able to:
- Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods while performing cleaning duties.
- Climb in and onto trailers and access other elevated surfaces using steps and handholds.
- Reach, grasp, push, pull, and handle tools, equipment, and components during cleaning, parts retrieval, and related assisting requests.
- Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds such as parts and tools.
- Occasionally work in confined or awkward spaces, including reaching underneath trucks or trailers to examine components.
- Tolerate prolonged periods outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow) and around active trucking operations, including noise, dust, and moving vehicles.
