JOB SUMMARY / ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain Quality Assurance Compliance to ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards.
- Facilitate R&D projects for customers.
- Supervise QA team to ensure Compliance of QMS.
- Collaborate with Management in (PPAP) parts qualification process to establish schedules to achieve customer delivery requirements
- Collaborate with Production to establish schedules to achieve customer delivery requirements
- Quality Planning (Control Plans, Inspection Plans, etc.)
- Establish rates for frequency of inspection activities and measure performance to the established rates
- Develop and qualify inspection methods Receiving, set-up, in-process and final inspections Training of personnel to inspection methods as required (inspectors, operators, etc.)
- Manage calibration activities (internal and external)
- Drive CAPA execution as assigned
- Conduct statistical analysis as required (capability studies) Conduct Measurement System Analysis as required (GRR, etc.)
- Support investigation of Customer Complaints
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive implementation of identified improvements
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment Other duties as requested by Management QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE HS Diploma/Technical School
- 2-3 years prior supervisory experience in a related field of business, CMM or Vision system experienced a plus but not required.
- GD & T skills LANGUAGE SKILLS: Blue Print Reading, Read, write, speak and comprehend English. MATH SKILLS: Advanced Math Skills including some trig
REASONING ABILITY: Has a reasonable knowledge of subject and can determine when to use appropriate techniques PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Some light to medium lifting
