Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Wood Craftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the wood flooring industry and possess the ability to install new and restore hardwood floors to their original beauty. This role requires attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a passion for quality work. The Lead Hardwood Installer will be responsible for applying installation according to NWFA standards.
Duties
- Install solid hardwood, pre-finished hardwood, LVP, Laminate to NWFA standard installation guidelines
- Sand and refinish new and existing hardwood to NWFA and Company standards
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hardwood flooring installation, sanding and finishing.
- Familiarity with the NWFA standards and guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require standing for long periods and lifting materials as needed.
- A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
