Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. This role is essential in supporting physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic outpatient setting. At NJPTG, physical therapy aides are an integral part of our cohesive team. Our aides ensure that our clinic environment remains safe and clean. They ensure patients are supervised under the direction of the physical therapist. Additionally, they are supportive to the front office by answering phones, collecting co-pays, and communicating with patients and families as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Preparing treatment areas for appointments
- Setting up therapy equipment prior to appointments
- Maintaining equipment
- Ensuring patient safety at all times
- Welcoming patients and escorting them from reception areas to treatment area
- Answering phones and collecting co-pays
- Inventorying, organizing, and recommending supply replenish
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Experience
- No experience in this field is necessary; on the job training is provided however;
- Prior experience with effective time management skills, and ability to multitask
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient care and service.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
