Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas
- Assist with food safety procedures, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Clear tables promptly by bussing, resetting for new guests, and supporting overall restaurant flow
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation when needed, ensuring smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or related retail environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking efficiently
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with serving, bussing, or cashiering in a restaurant or café environment is advantageous
- Willingness to learn new skills related to the food industry and improve sales techniques
