Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) or Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts
Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Weekend: Every Other Weekend

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care to children and adolescents experiencing acute behavioral and psychiatric crises in an inpatient setting.
Requirements:
- Active OR State RN License
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Behavioral Health or Psychiatric nursing experience
- Previous travel experience required (No first-time travelers)
- BLS Certification
- Experience caring for pediatric and adolescent psychiatric patients
- Ability to manage patients with suicidal ideation, behavioral crises, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and trauma-related disorders
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Documentation
Note: Must have a personal vehicle for the assignment
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric and adolescent behavioral health patients.
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
- Utilize crisis intervention and therapeutic de-escalation techniques.
- Implement suicide precautions, seclusion, and physical hold protocols as needed.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
