Responsibilities:
- Assist the physical therapist in providing patient care and treatment
- Implement treatment plans under the guidance of the physical therapist
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes to the physical therapist
- Educate patients on exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength
- Administer therapeutic modalities, such as ultrasound or electrical stimulation, as directed by the physical therapist
- Assist with patient transfers and positioning during therapy sessions
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
Requirements:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Valid state license or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and ability to work effectively as a part of a team.
