Duties

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices
- Use knife skills and cooking techniques efficiently to produce consistent, flavorful dishes
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food with precision and speed
- Serve dishes promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction during meal service
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in fine dining environments
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs and restrictions
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety protocols
- Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Experience with menu planning, food presentation, and catering operations is highly desirable
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques are essential
