Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on facilities equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, electrical equipment.
- Complete maintenance painting, carpentry, welding, and other building interior maintenance tasks to uphold property standards.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential issues; execute repairs or coordinate with specialists for complex problems such as HVAC system repair or electrical work.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, schematics, and repair logs; ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes.
Skills
- Extensive experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting leaks and blockages.
- Proficiency in HVAC system repair and routine servicing to maintain climate control comfort within apartments.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to operate hand tools efficiently for various maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures including building interior upkeep, painting (including residential painting), carpentry, welding, and general repairs.
- Experience working with maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies; adept at managing parts inventory and ordering supplies as needed.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, electrical standards, safety regulations, and building interior standards.
