Position Summary
We are seeking a positiveRN leader who is absolutely passionate about helping us fulfill our mission at NorthStar Navigators. This leadership role works alongside the NSN Board and with our existing, growing multi-disciplinary team to assure the policies, procedures and practices of the NSN Practice and MSO continue to achieve excellence in quality, satisfaction & compliance. A large percentage or the Regional Director’s time will be spent in the field maintaining & establishing new partnerships with local healthcare providers while leading our excellent team as they drive toward excellence in their respective roles.
Combined with strong relational skills, this leader will connect deeply with people, train and coach teams, and drive growth both internally with our team and externally with medical groups.
Ideal Candidate
- A positive, high-character RN leader with genuine passion for our mission of providing high-quality Chronic Care Management (CCM) and Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) services.
- Exceptional at connecting with people, building trust, and fostering a supportive team culture.
- Proven ability to train, coach, and develop internal nurses while driving performance and growth.
- Strong track record of driving growth with medical groups and expanding partnerships.
- Solid CMS knowledge and hands-on experience with Medicare guidelines, billing, and compliance in CCM/RPM or related programs.
Core Responsibilities
Compliance Framework & Leadership
- The ability to oversee, implement and assure compliance through others.
- Design, document, and implement policies, procedures, forms, data standards, and charting conventions. Again, with the excellent support of our team.
- Assure day-to-day compliance, focusing on note quality, EHR documentation, and clean/defensible billing.
- Maintain standards above contractual minimums in our (less regulated) practice environment.
Nurse Scheduling, Efficiency & Development
- Provide solid leadership & accountability in the efficient operation of our organizations (the Practice & the MSO), including driving for efficiency metrics such as billable nurse time percentage through optimization and coordination.
- Assure team members receive excellent training and support on systems and processes while delivering coaching and development to the broader team, directly & indirectly.
- Support internal nurse growth and performance to enable overall practice expansion.
Growth & Collaboration
- Working alongside our Chief Growth Officer (CGO), partner with medical groups to expand CCM/RPM services and drive referrals/growth.
- Contribute to operational scalability that supports both internal team development and external partnerships.
Operational Excellence
- Working with the NSN Board, set clear metrics, expectations, and boundaries; execute proactively with minimal meetings.
- Escalate issues quickly to designated leadership for rapid resolution.
Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license.
- Experience in CCM/RPM, nurse case management, compliance, and/or Medicare/CMS programs.
- Demonstrated leadership in training/coaching nurses and building relationships with medical groups.
- Experience with EHR/scheduling systems and process documentation.
