Join a growing commercial general contractor overseeing a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from $10 million to $100 million throughout Texas. This leadership role provides oversight of 10-15 active construction projects while supporting approximately 105 internal employees and multiple subcontractor teams.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced construction safety leader looking to influence company-wide safety culture, mentor project teams, and play a key role in the continued growth of the organization with a defined path toward a Safety Director position.
OSHA 500 Certification
Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
Minimum 3 years of construction safety management experience
Experience teaching or facilitating OSHA 30 courses
Strong knowledge of OSHA reporting requirements, including OSHA 300 Logs
Self-motivated with strong organizational and leadership abilities
Comfortable using technology and digital safety management platforms
Construction HealthSafety Officer (CHSO)
Direct experience working with OSHA compliance officers and inspections
Procore experience
Commercial General Contractor experience
Experience managing multiple concurrent construction projects
CHST, ASP, CSP, or other BCSP credential

Provide safety leadership across 10-15 active commercial construction projects

Support approximately 105 employees and multiple subcontractor teams

Conduct routine project inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client safety requirements

Lead OSHA inspections and manage regulatory documentation

Maintain OSHA 300 logs and required compliance records

Deliver OSHA training, orientations, and ongoing safety education

Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation

Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), permits, and project safety plans

Partner with project managers, superintendents, and field leadership to proactively identify and mitigate hazards

Utilize Procore and other technology platforms to manage safety documentation and reporting

Drive continuous improvement initiatives and strengthen company-wide safety culture
