Territory Sales Representative (Seattle, WA area) - Base Salary (shared in posting) + Commission
We are seeking a Territory/Area Sales Rep to manage sales and service of material handling equipment, parts, and services within an assigned territory in the greater Seattle, WA Region. This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships across industries such as food & beverage distribution, parcel delivery, healthcare, logistics, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Travel within the territory to service and sell equipment, parts, and solutions.
- Inspect and maintain customer equipment, providing recommendations or quotes.
- Prospect and develop new business through cold calls, demonstrations, and lead generation.
- Manage inventory, documentation, and expense reporting.
- Ensure professional representation and commitment to safety at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required (college coursework a plus)
- 3–5+ years of experience in a field-based, customer-facing role (service, account management, route sales, or similar)
- Comfortable with overnight travel and extended time in the field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, customer-first mindset
- Mechanical aptitude or experience working with equipment, tools, or technical products is preferred
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and plan territory travel
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems and software
Physical & Work Environment
- Regular driving within territory using a company vehicle
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~50 lbs routinely)
- Work performed in customer facilities, warehouses, outdoor areas, and industrial environments
- Exposure to varying weather conditions and physical environments
