We are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the front-line point of contact for patients and referring offices. You’ll be the first person a patient speaks with on the phone and the first person they meet when they arrive. Coordinate, integrate, and represent all facets of patient services, from the first call through the completion of treatment and necessary follow-ups. You’ll also be responsible for managing the schedule in a way that meets the practice’s efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones, schedule patients and triage patient and referring doctor calls appropriately.
- Anticipate patient needs or concerns and address them in advance (including other team members and/or management, if needed)
- Verify the patient's information to ensure billing and patient records are correct.
- Assist patients through the check-in and check-out process using Microsoft Windows software.
- Collect any balance due for the appointment and make any necessary follow-up appointments.
