Job Summary
Our boutique, self-pay orthopedic physical therapy practice is seeking an experienced Doctor of Physical Therapy for a seasonal contract role, with the possibility to continue on afterward if it's a great mutual fit. This is an ideal opportunity for a PT looking to pick up flexible, high-quality clinical hours, build a self-pay caseload, and potentially grow into a longer-term role with our practice.
We specialize in hands-on, one-on-one orthopedic care and integrate a Pilates-based approach to movement and rehabilitation. Our patients choose us because they want individualized attention and results — not a high-volume insurance model.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on, one-on-one orthopedic physical therapy evaluations and treatment
- Design and progress individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for an active, motivated patient population
- Incorporate manual therapy and dry needling into treatment as appropriate
- Educate and empower patients in home programs and long-term movement strategies
- Use our app to create salient HEP programs for patients to complete exercises at home between sessions
- Represent our practice's standard of care with confidence, professionalism, and integrity
What We're Looking For
- Licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), active and in good standing
- Strong manual/hands-on treatment skills with an orthopedic focus
- Dry needling certification strongly preferred
- Pilates certification or experience is highly valued
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works confidently with minimal oversight
- Comfortable operating as an independent contractor (1099)
Schedule & Structure
- Contract position, roughly 13 weeks, with potential to extend or transition to an ongoing role
- Flexible schedule — approximately 1–2 days per week, 4–10 hours per week
- Great opportunity for a PT seeking supplemental income, a flexible schedule, or an entry point into cash-based/self-pay practice
