Role Overview:
As an In-Home Caregiver at Assisting Hands - NE San Antonio, you will be responsible for providing essential personal care and support to seniors and individuals in need. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care coordination team to ensure each client receives tailored services that enhance their quality of life and independence. As this is an on-site position, you'll have the flexibility to create a schedule that suits your availability and our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to client preferences and dietary needs.
- Remind clients to take medications as prescribed.
- Provide mobility assistance and physical support, ensuring client safety.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Experience in caregiving, preferably in a home care setting.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine concern for others’ wellbeing.
- Ability to create and maintain respectful relationships with clients.
- Flexible schedule availability to meet client needs.

- Have previous experience working with elderly or disabled individuals.
- Possess CPR and First Aid certifications.
