Anchor Solutions is one of the most respected relocation companies in the country and we are looking for dependable Movers to add to our staff for our metro Milwaukee headquarters. Duties for this particular position will include, but not limited to setup, tear down, and reconfiguration of meeting rooms/ event set ups in a professional environment. We are willing to negotiate competitive wages for qualified candidates based on experience and knowledge of the industry. Wages for beginner Movers start at $22.00/hour and can be higher with experience. Driver positions are also available.
Job Requirements:
- The ability to take direction from site lead as well as customer contact.
- Assist with team lead to move, set up, and reconfigure free standing furniture per customer direction.
- Accountable for the care of customers belongings, company vehicles, and equipment
- Maintain good verbal communication with crew members, customers, supervisors, and office staff
- Perform within a team environment with changing demands and timelines, while maintaining a positive outlook and attitude
- Exercise good time management, is responsible for executing tasks in a timely fashion
- Available to work all scheduled shifts and is responsible for their own punctuality and attendance
- Demonstrate the will to solve problems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds continuously
- Safety conscious
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Moving experience is preferred but not necessary if equivalent experience applies
- Criminal background check
- Must be dependable and flexible to work varying shifts based on customer demand
- Willingness to work overtime including nights and weekends as needed
- Demonstrate the ability to learn new procedures and skills
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and arrive to work properly uniformed
- Reliable means of transportation to work
