Job Summary
The Exterior Installer is responsible for the professional installation of siding, windows, doors, decks any other projects on residential and light commercial properties. This role requires strong carpentry skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
What you’ll do
- Install exterior siding (vinyl, wood, fiber cement, etc.) according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
- Install and replace windows and exterior doors, ensuring proper fit, sealing, and insulation.
- Construct, repair, or renovate decks and related structures.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately using hand and power tools.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality, alignment, and weatherproofing.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite.
- Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and team members.
- Follow all safety procedures and comply with OSHA and company standards.
- Load, transport, and unload materials and tools as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any installation challenges
Basic qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and speed square
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work at heights (ladders, scaffolding).
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Preferred qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in exterior construction or installation (siding, windows, doors, or decks).
