Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Pawn Broker to join our team. No experience in the Pawn industry needed. The ideal candidate will conduct pawn transactions, evaluate merchandise, and provide exceptional service to our customers. This role requires strong sales skills, retail experience, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pawn transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash handling procedures with integrity.
- Evaluate and appraise merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, and other valuables.
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients with product information, sales, and loan processes.
- Manage merchandising efforts including stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring the store is attractive and well-maintained.
- Maintain phone etiquette when communicating with customers or vendors.
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures related to retail sales, cash handling, and security.
- Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs., spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending and typing while assisting customers.
- Compensation is $11.00/ hour and sales commission.
Pay: $11.00 per hour
