Job Summary
As the first point of contact for our clients, the front desk associate plays a vital role in creating a welcoming experience for both pets and their owners. This position combines customer service, administrative duties, and support for daily daycare and boarding operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet pet parents and their dogs with a friendly, professional attitude
- Check dogs in and out for daycare, boarding, grooming, and other services
- Answer phone calls, emails, and text inquiries promptly, and professionally
- Schedule reservations and manage appointments using facility software - we use Gingr
- Process payments and maintain accurate client accounts

- Communicate facility policies, requirements, and service recommendations
- Monitor vaccination records and ensure all dogs meet facility requirements
- Assist with client concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk and lobby area
- Support staff when needed - we work as a team
- Ensure accurate documentation of pet and client information
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods
- Basic computer skills and experience with scheduling software preferred
- Previous customer service, reception, veterinary, pet care, or boarding experience is a plus
- Promote and sell baths, day camp packages, enrichments, and training sessions
- Passion for dogs and commitment to their safety and well-being - maintain a safe environment for everyone
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- NO DRAMA
- Required to be able to work with a team
- Must love dogs - the noise, the hair, the messes, the love, and the smiles!
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments
- Ability to handle barking, dog messes, and cleaning

Hourly position. Must be able to work flexible schedule - Camp is open 7 days/week, 6:00am to 7:00pm, weekends and holidays are required but time off is permitted with advance notice.
