Job Overview
We are looking for a part time, Middle School/High School English Tutor, who can teach kids of Middle and High school ELA where all the materials and homework is provided by the tutoring center. The tutor should be able to teach English Grammar, Reading Comprehension and Vocabulary for the kids. The student to teacher ratio will vary from 3 -5 students max to 1 teacher. Follow-up with kids and ensure they understand the ELA concepts well. Need a consistent teacher for the assigned days.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day activities of teaching to kids based on given curriculum
- Clarify the doubts and questions asked during the class and clearly explain the math concepts
- Do homework corrections as needed
- Maintain progress report based on the curriculum and materials provided by the center
Requirements
- Well versed in teaching kids and making them understand the grammar concepts
- Patiently explain to kids their questions
- Maintain welcoming environment of learning for kids.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
