Job Title: EKG Tech / ED Tech / Phlebotomist (Travelers Only)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 3x12.5 Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend | Rotating Holidays
Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking an EKG Tech / ED Tech / Phlebotomist for an exciting Travel assignment in Hyannis, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Draw blood and collect/transport clinical specimens to the laboratory
- Perform EKGs, Holter monitor placement, and stress testing per protocol
- Verify patient identification prior to specimen collection
- Instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures
- Complete required lab documentation, cardiac testing records, and billing information
- Document testing data accurately in hospital systems and logs
- Communicate workflow updates, order changes, and test requirements with clinical teams
- Assist nursing units with specimen collection and testing support
- Maintain PPE compliance and hospital safety standards
- Troubleshoot specimen collection issues and provide service recovery support
- Keep testing areas clean, stocked, and organized
- Support orientation and training of staff/students
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives and departmental meetings
- Ensure efficient use of supplies and resources
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy Certification (PBT) required
- EKG Certification required
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Acute care hospital experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working nights, weekends, and rotating holiday
