Overview:
We are seeking a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor to join our team. As a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, you will provide mental health counseling and support to individuals of all ages. Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with clients to assess their mental health needs
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on client goals and needs
- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, such as behavioral therapy, group therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing
- Provide crisis management and intervention when necessary
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in mental health counseling
Skills:
- Must hold a valid license as a Professional Counselor
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Proficient in crisis management techniques
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients
- Ability to conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on client needs
- Familiarity with addiction counseling and substance abuse treatment modalities
