Construction Laborer / Driver
American Dream Design Build is looking for a dependable, hardworking Construction Laborer / Driver to join our team. This is a hands-on position supporting residential construction and remodeling projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Safely operate company vehicles, including a box van and dump truck, to transport construction materials, tools, and debris to and from job sites.
- Assist with demolition, cleanup, and maintaining an organized job site
- Assist with the installation of building materials
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding labor throughout the workday
- Operate a forklift safely to move materials as needed
- Support carpenters and other team members with carpentry and general construction tasks as needed
- Help keep vehicles, tools, and work areas clean, safe, and organized
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old for insurance purposes
- Have and maintain a clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and current vehicle insurance
- Comfortable driving a box van and dump truck
- Must be able to safely lift and carry more than 50 pounds
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Construction, demolition, forklift, or job-site experience preferred
- Must have and maintain a basic set of construction hand tools
- Must be able to pass drug test
